FYI, still did not overlay the video.
Re: LapTimer fails on a Nexus 5
Hi Brandon,
I checked the log you sent. It seems the video file recorded by your smartphone cannot be read by the video library used by LapTimer. Preview / playback is done using Android functions, so that's a different story. To find out the exact reason why this happens, I have added further logging that will be included in version 18.0.10 Once you receive it, please run the exact same process again. Thanks! Maybe your smartphone uses some video or audio encoding I can add to the library. Using release / log cycles is a length process here... In case you have some server space available you can upload the video to, or in case you have a Dropbox account, please consider providing the video to me so I can test it directly and without further bothering you.
Once more question: do you get the "Invalid Master Video" for all videos recorded? You may record a small test video as an alternative: just enter Video View, press the red record button. Wait 10 seconds, and finish the recording again. Once you have verified this small video is invalid too, you can probably send the small video by mail.

Re: LapTimer fails on a Nexus 5
Harry - I'm having the same "Invalid Master Video" when trying to do an overlay after setting the sync point for the end of the lap.
I'm using full version of Harry's LapTimer on a Samsung S4.
Thanks.

Yes, recorded with my galaxy S4
Thanks for the quick response.

@passer, Please follow the instruction in this FAQ. The "trace classes" you need to enable for this case are "Video", "Overlay", and "FFmpeg". The operation to perform is simply to bring up the Overlay Configuration and press "Overlay". Once you are back (without message), please finish tracing as described in the FAQ. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Harry!
Re: LapTimer fails on a Nexus 5
@passer, at least another problem occurs for video files bigger than 2 GB. How big is the master video in your case?
