Hi,

This acceleration recalculation dates back to early LapTimer times when smartphones had no acceleration sensors. It is optimized for 1 Hz GPS and fails with noisy results for higher update rate GPSes (like yours).

I see. Is this also the reason why the forces are shown opposite to what the really are or do I have something misconfigured?

I know you are working on support with other gps devices. It it safe to say these GPS units will fully supported with HLT at some point?

Thanks

The original - wrong - acceleration is due to a mis-calibration. There is one stop you may go through each time you start from the pits: check if the acceleration shown (lateral, lineal, overall) is roughly zero. In the video view for example, this means the green dot is in the center of the circle. Tap the circle in case it is not. I have added quites some refinements on this in 17.0.7 and hope things are more fault tolerant now.
