Hi there,
I recently moved Laptimer from iPhone to Android (which is much more stable and powerful with less restrictions on connectivity). Harry made the move even better with a "Mover support". Thanks again for that!
I transferred (copied) all my settings and came across a funny difference. When I enter the same gear ratios in Android as in the iPhone, I get different Limits/max. speeds. But what is more peculiar, Laptimer detects all gears correctly at driving, except 6th gear (it shows 5th gear). As said, all settings are the same, iPhone shows 6th gear, Android doesn't.
Any simple explanation and/or solution?
Thanks, Jack

Re: Display of correct gear
Both versions use the same underlying code, so I doubt it is a calculation issue. Please check the following fields, they all go into the speed / rpm / gear calculation:
gear ratios
drive ratio
wheel sizes
drive type
units used (metric/imperial)
I bet one is different.
Please send screenshots of the vehicle definition otherwise.

Re: Display of correct gear
Hi Harry
I have a S-tronic double-clutch gear box.
How can I enter the correct ratios?
The S-tronic has two different axle drive ratios.
Getriebeübersetzung im 1. Gang / 2. Gang 2,923 / 1,833
Getriebeübersetzung im 3. Gang / 4. Gang 1,308 / 0,969
Getriebeübersetzung im 5. Gang / 6.-Gang 1,037 / 0,813
Achsübersetzung 3,264 / 1. - 4. Gang : 4,769 / 5. - 6. Gang
Thanks.
