New setup

Post by MStephens »

I'm a new user and am setting up my car. I plan on using the Phocus case and a RAM mount on my roll cage, as my car is open cockpit with no windshield, and XGPS150. Two questions:
For video is the iPhone 4S camera view angle appropriate, or is a wide angle lens adapter better (or worse)? The Phocus case has lens attachment, but if I can get by without one, that would be best.
Does anyone use a small plug-in microphone, if so, which ones?

Thanks
Michael

Hi think a wide angle lens is pretty valuable for a track perspective. Just compare goPro with standard iPhone videos. Harry

Check post 3 for microphones. That's what I'm running. I tested it out and it works great, although have yet to run on the track. Next track day is in 2 weeks =)
