Already own Grand Prix HLT on android and Garmin Virb Ultra 30. Will HLT work with intended accessories of RaceCapture/Track, as GPS and OBD, and Garmin Virb Ultra 30 as a camera ?

Probable connection configuration :

- Grand Prix HLT on Andriod with client wifi

- RaceCature/Track, wired OBD, with client wifi

- Garmin Virb Ultra 30 with AP wifi

You can't connect your smartphone to more than one WiFi at a time. So while RC is connected, you need to operate your Garmin manually. Footage recorded can be added to LapTimer manually later. See Video Documentation for the details.

Wonder if both the android smart phone (with HLT running on) and RaceCapture/Track connect (as wifi clients) to the same Garmin Virb Camera Wifi Access Point, could HLT running on the android smart phone, somehow knowing RaceCapture/Track's ip address, communicate with the RaceCapture/Track ?

LapTimer works with all RCP devices. RCPs can be customized a lot, please have a look into the RCP FAQ here in the forum to understand what LapTimer expects as input. You can connect to a sensor or cam from two apps / devices at a time. These are always so called exclusive resources.

Thanks for your response. I think you refered to this "[HOW-TO] RaceCapture Device Configuration" @ viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4789. This actually led me to acquire a RC/Pro MK3 instead of RC/Track in order to be able to utilise BT conectivity while leaving Wifi connectivity available for camera.
