Garmin smartwatch for heart rate?

For those of you using an iPhone, has anyone tried using a Garmin smartwatch as an alternative to the Apple Watch for tracking heart rate? While the Polar HRM is the most accurate (and a rather cheap) option, I really dislike wearing that chest strap.

Provided it delivers data the Health Kit, it should work.

Which Polar HRM do you have? I’m curious if the 10 works well.
