cheap phone or tablet

New car has no sunroof so my nexus 7 wont really work on the windshield, not to mention the weight does make it shake more than a phone.
Anyone wanna steer me into a used phone or a cheap chinese phone or tiny tablet that would do the job? I have a bluetooth obd reader and gps ready to go
