Can't find Pitt Race Full

Post by Mr. Pockets »

Hi,

Is a POI set for Pitt Race Full in Laptimer? I see posts about it here, but I can't find it in the app.

Thanks!

Hi,
if we talk about Pittsburgh, there are five configurations available for download: Full, South, North, Vintage und Wilson.
To ensure you see all of them, first update the list with button top right.
Next search for "Pitt" and make sure the "All" search cirteria below the search field is selected.

I had a quick question about Pitt Race full track. According to HLT on my phone, the track keeps getting longer. Since July 2016 until now, the track length (average length for the track day) has changed from 2.689 miles to 2.843 miles.

July 2016 - 2.689 miles
June 2017 - 2.703 miles
May 2018 - 2.748 miles
June 2018 - 2.803 miles
July 2018 - 2.843 miles

Has a new profile been released, or am I doing something wrong?

This is measured distance. So the quality of your GPS recording influences this value. Usually, lower accuracy will create longer distances. Distance driven is used to calculate average speeds only. So this should not be too critical. I plan to use a predefined distance for avg speed calculation in the future.
