Virginia City Hillclimb - Anyone already make the track?

Post by Tremek »

Hi guys, I just got back from the 2015 running of the Virginia City Hillclimb, which is an awesome event in its 44th year as of this past weekend. 2nd year attending for me, but I didn't do my due diligence in checking to see if there was a track already in Lap Timer and it turns out there wasn't as far as I could tell for route 341. The run looks something like this:

And on Google Maps this is the route (start and end points are fairly precise):

Interested to know either what it takes to make the track and have it be "official" (although I live in Denver - it's not around the corner for me) or to see if anyone else has made something that I simply couldn't find. Thanks!

Hi,
the track is not yet part of our track database, but I will add it.
I need the most exakt coordinates of start and finish line as possible - if you don't have the gps coordinates, could you please try to indicate the start and the finish location on a google maps screenshot and post it here or send it to tracks@gps-laptimer.de?

This is the zoom in of the start given in the google map...
So no chance to set a working POI for the start line in Harry's LapTimer.

If anybody knows, please just mark the start and end line and we can add the track.
