Le Mans : bad position of the trigger...

Post by prn »

Hello.
I try the new version of Harry' Laptimer. There must be a problem with the position of the trigger.
I record the track with a tomtom craddle, and you can see that the points are very acccurate (open it in google earth).
But your start / stop trigger is placed about 20 meter on the west.

What can i do with all my records track?

Can you change the trigger position?

THanks.

Le Mans : bad trigger

I think that the stat/stop trigger is not in the good place...
I've all my laps in one, and when i open it in google earth, they are all right on the track...

Hi prn,

I had a look into the KML file you sent to me. It seems the stop / go trigger in the starting area was moved. The server version is more to the west / slightly south - exactly on the start / finish line (at least if Google Earth is correct). LapTimer normally issues a warning when a user accidentally moves a trigger from a certified trace set. At least when done in the embedded Google Maps view. Sorry for the inconvenience, but having the trigger in the wrong place (in the pits) made LapTimer miss the trigger. There is nothing you can do here 'after the fact'. I will probably add a feature to feed in existing recordings again in a future version.
