Hi,
As the lap time is measured by one round, it is not so important if the start/finish line is some meters different to the trigger set in the track - the overall lap time development is influenced a lot by a shift.
We want to have general usable tracks / official tracks in database, which can be used for as many track set ups as possible.
So it would be very helpful, if you could update the track with 'official' information, e.g. add more POIs with correct turn names and intermediates that are commonly used.
To do so, just go to map view and add a new POI by using the plus sign at the top right corner. Give it a name, select the correct POI group and save it.
You can also move the POIs in the map view by selecting it with a long fingertip and move it by touch. If there are public split positions, just add them similar as new POIs but with type 'Trigger' 'intermediate'.
What you don't want to do, is to add additional 'start' or 'finish' triggers - that could stop the automated start/stop of the lap recording - so should only be done very thoughtful
Afterwards, just send the updated track via the 'Certify' button to us.
If you want to go back to the original track, just reload it from the database. (If no internet access, save it first: update the original track with an minor change (eg. name of POI) and send the certify mail to yourself - so you can anytime later reload this version of the track from your mail into laptimer).
