GPS Buddy - Ipad

Post by Naples FL »

Harry:

Until a few weeks ago I was able to use the app on a 12.9 Ipad.

Upon reinstalling the app none of the add-ons are displayed correctly.

The option of using the Edmund base is not available either.

Any guidance would appreciated

Hi,

Buddy has never been optimized for iPads like LapTimer et al have been. For the empty screen seen in your mail, this is probably some issue with the iPad's iPhone compatibility mode and a late iOS version?

The add-ons part is easy: goto Administration ‣ Add-ons and press Restore. This will restore Engine and/or Satellite features purchased.

Harry;

Any chances to have Bosch OBD 1050 supported as a device for the GPS Suite?

Many Thanks

I think this is a proprietary system. Anyone with insights into Bosch protocols can integrate it into LapTimer (using our developer program and scripting), but this will be nothing provided by us directly.
