How to import Car definition from HLT to GPS Buddy ?

Post by KrisS »

Hello upgraded to latest version of GPS buddy today and bought satelite and OBD info features. Now for the last one (OBD) to work properly I need the car data defined. I am able to export the car def from HLT rto my mail but how to copy/import it to GPS buddy ? When I press the attachment it allows to choose mail, dropbox and HLT to open it. No GPS Buddy on the list. Any hint / info how to do it ?

regards

K

Hi,

GPS Buddy is not registered for any file type, that's the reason it isn't offered to open the .hvehl file. This mean you need to enter the data manually...

The new lookup feature in GPS Buddy helps a lot with vehicle data.

If Edmunds would add gear ratios, I'd really love them :-)

Edmunds provided models sold in the US market only. Not sure the MK2 is one of these?
