iPhone 5. Started out with 7.0xxxx and was having the issue so I did the upgrade to the 7.1 OS that had just come out, no change, same issue.

Yup, will do the hard restart after a crash, go straight back in to HLT and have the same issue.

Can you please check if this happens for footage recorded with the internal cam too? Maybe there is some incompatibility between the GoPro video format and the media server in iOS...

Yup, it locked up again. This time it locked up in the app, unresponsive. Hit the home button and the home button came up. Opened up HLT and it showed the opening screen with just the gray checkers flag background. After a while the app closed. Reopened and it opened slowly, went to the lap and now the overlay and the gopro video were no longer listed. Went to the photo app and it locked up. Closed the photo app and everything else. Opened up my text message app and its non responsive as well.

Sound like all apps accessing media content run into problems currently. Please reboot your system to reset the media server process.

Rebooted and would have the same issues...

Tried in my iPad, seemed to work and then the videos disappeared inside the lap screen.

What is better iPhone 5 or iPad Air?
-Data recording/timing
-Video processing?

iPad Air has A7 processor and iPhone 5 an A6, so I guess the iPad should be quicker processing video.
When it comes to logging there shouldn't be any difference between the devices. Does the iPad Air have internal GPS? If not you either need an external receiver or simply stick to the iPhone 5, which has GPS and GLONASS and therefore pretty decent reception at 1Hz.

Turns out the iPad Air only has GPS if you have the cellular version. iPhone it is... Thx

Is there a way to use the GoPro as the master only, while using the timer only, not video mode? In other words, is there a way to have Laptimer automatically start/stop the GoPro while in Timer mode, not video mode as I do not want video recorded on my iPhone, but on the GoPro only?

Hi - I've recorded a bunch of laps with the GoPro while also letting the iphone record video as the master. However, I want to use the GoPro video as the master and discard the iphone recorded video. In Lap details, I have the iPhone video as the master and the GoPro video as PIP. I deleted the Master video recording, so now I just see the GoPro video. But when I hit overlay, I get an error message saying "Invalid master video, 1 MultiCam PIP video(s) included".

Any idea on how to fix?

Using latest LapTimer Grand Prix version, and iPhone 5.

Thanks
Tom
