Hi All,

I set up my OBDII, BT1A, and X160 GPS to work with HLT on my iPhone 6S Plus. Unfortunately, the video quality was terrible. According to some research, this is a known problem with newer iPhones. I used an old iPhone 4S and the quality was fantastic and the overlay worked just fine.

I want as simple a setup as possible. Ideally, I'd export the video from the phone and that's it. Are there better options than an iPhone 4S? Android?

Use an external cam (or your iPhone 4S using the cam app). Late Android phones show the same problem, technology used is optimized for video recording using your hands, not a fixed cam with a moving field of view.
