Hello,

Wondering if Harry's Lap Timer has support for Xiaomi "Yi" action cams? Popular GoPro alternatives from China.

I've used Harrys with my GoPro Hero3 previously, but Ideally I'd like to use 2-3 cameras and having tested the Xiaomi cam's, they're comparable and a lot cheaper than GoPro's.. Especially the new Xiaomi Yi 4K which has just released and with specs & price that trounce the top gopros. I'd love to shoot with a few of those.

Due to the low price mark, they are quite popular and are requested to get integrated. However, I'm not aware of a 3rd party interface they provide for 3rd parties - which is a requirement.

You can record with these cams manually and add it to LapTimer after the fact. Steps are described in Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation

Was anyone able to use non-go pro cameras? I agree with the OP the Yi is an excellent value.
