More importantly, will it integrate with HLT?

There is no standard for cam integration, every manufacturer implements its own interface (if one at all).
Both a 3rd party developer kit and a high market share are required to get integration.
Currently, it is not supported. Please check www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios for supported models.
