Harry's GPS Suite Forum

The forum software has been updated to phpBB 3.1.6 today. Compared to 3.0, 3.1 introduces a completely new customization scheme and any customization I applied to the old installation needed rework.

Besides the phpBB update (and database migration), the following extensions have been added:

• Board Announcements
• Google Search
• Lightbox
• New Topics Need Approval
• Share On
• Stop Forum Spam
• Tapatalk Plugin

The former mobile style mimicking iOS6 has been completely removed. It has been limited anyway and phpBB 3.1 comes with adaptive styles usable both on smartphones and desktop computers.

Besides extensions, a style with custom coloring has been added:

• Elegance style by Artodia (http://www.artodia.com/phpbb-styles/elegance2) with default color scheme
• Changed logo to display LapTimer banner (http://www.artodia.com/phpbb-31-tutorials/change-logo/)
