Harry,
I seem to be gettling a dialogue box pop up whenever I open a thread... Harrys lap timer has an app for this forum... Which I have to cancel each time. On ipad, don't know about anything else.
It's a right royal PITA.
How do I get rid of it?
I managed to get rid of the banner at the top of the page trying to sell me the app, hit the cross in the black circle to get rid of it.

I updated the Tapatalk plugin yesterday, this is most probably related. As I run Tapatalk - and probably have a different configuration, I do not get any prompt or advertising. Can you please send a snapshot and the browser / platform you get it? I will take care it will go away - clearly not intended.

P.S. Have you enabled cookies for your browser?

I have applied a patch as recommended by the Tapatalk people. Please try again and let me know if it goes away after at most one popup.

You have probably seen the Tapatalk people change their strategy to an advertising based model (they have made the app free and will introduce ads step by step). As I do not want LapTimer forum users to be bugged with advertising (although Tapatalk will pass on a share of ads income to forum providers), I agreed with them to not get ads pushed to LapTimer forum viewers. Hope you appreciate ;-)

How do you know if you have the pro version?

I have the old paid for version (upgraded to the new version) with some iap such as photo hosting.
