I tried the search with No luck.

Im looking for at OBD reader That Will work with my current setup.

Car E36 1997 323ti, IPhone 7plus, Dual xgps 160, GoPro hero 4

I would like to ad engine sensor is there a proven working solution for this?

The E36 1997 doesn't comply to OBD II. So there is no inexpensive and easy option to access engine data.

The only option is adding individual sensors and wiring - which is something for wealthy experts.
So the answer is that you can built your own system based on e.g. ASL's RaceCapture Pro solution (see http://www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios), but I doubt you want to do that.

It is probably better to wait for the next car.
