Lap Timer with BMW s1000rr

Post by Jsorrels »

1. Can Harry's Petrol Head Lap timer accept data from a gs-911 (BMW is proprietary) the go point will not work.
2. Can Lap timer work with DBPower action camera (wifi compatable) the price is $100 vs GoPro $400

1. As long as it does not comply to the ELM327 standard and can be connected to your phone - no. BMW (like all other car manufacturers) supports standardized protocols only in case the are legally forced to (like OBD II).
2. You will be able to record manually and transfer footage to your smartphone and finally overlay it here. There is no direct integration like for the HEROs available. Please check Video Documentation available in www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation for the details.

That's off topic, please create a new thread for a new topic.

HERO5 cams are not officially supported and I can't give a schedule yet. The Black may work with HERO4 settings, the Session 5 does not.
