roqyBT4 and Bluetooth OBDs!
Re: roqyBT4 and Bluetooth OBDs!
Hi,
roqyBT4 will simply allow LapTimer to access dongles via BT, instead of WLAN. Once connected, LapTimer should support all Elm327 compatible devices. In case you run into problems, I will try to find a solution.

Re: roqyBT4 and Bluetooth OBDs!
Hi. now i istalled everything and tried it out in my car.
First, the roqy app disconnects all the time.
second, when i go in to Harrys Laptimer it "flickers" from green (connection) to not finding anything.
when i go to video i get the revcounter/% in the corner but it does nothing.
i even tried the Rev app and it would event connect.
Am i doing anything wrong?

Hi,
Have you updated to version 14.1 of LapTimer? It is available since yesterday.

@Christoffer:
To use roqyOBD:
1- check roqyBT is correctly registered (license page, mode registered), and you have installed roqyOBD addon from cydia.
2- Go to configuration page, select an OBD device (if not listed, select generic obd key). Back to configuration, check the PIN code, must be the one required by your device (mostly 0000 or 1234). It is in your user manual.
3 - Back to main page, scan the bluetooth devices, click on your OBD key, roqyBT app should be able to pair with it. When done, the page switch to OBD server page. Close roqyBT app, go to Harry laptimer.
If you still have issues, please write to support@roqy-bluetooth.net !
regards,
Roqy

Hi,
The one I tested is the second link (black, blue, orange). It's working ... or not. The communication line is not stable...
Even if it is really cheap, I think it's better to try kiwi plx or OBDKey.
Regards,
Roqy

Ok, I'll keep it in mind !
At the moment, I have the Kiwi Wifi but it has connection drops so I'm waiting for iOS5, maybe there's a fix for the Adhoc connectivity.
If not I'll buy the Kiwi BT when your version is out that supports 2 BT devices at the same time ( Qstarz 818XT and Kiwi BT ).

Re: roqyBT4 and Bluetooth OBDs!
I just returned the one from second link... It doesn't offer a stable connection
OBD Key is excellent and stays connected.
Roqy, are u indeed working on version two in which you will support two BT devices?
I appreciate a response to the last question if possible
