Much of the same issue here

iPhone 4S Jailbroken
ELM 327
Roqy BT4 / OBD

I can connect to the dongle, I recieve PID's: ATZ[878ms], ATWS[59ms], ATE0[51ms], ATAT0[53ms], ATSFF[48ms], & ATRV

I show the RPM gauge in video view, but no data is being transmitted. When trying to overlay the video, the OBD Data toggle is greyed out.

Any ideas?

And which car? Do you get green / blue / red indicators in the RPM gauge?

Sorry, I have not been precise here. The gauge in the video view is shown when a OBD dongle is connected - even if no data is flowing. What I wanted you to have a look into is the OBD gadget you see e.g. in LapTimer's Timer or GPS view. It is in the bottom of the screen and usually replaces other gadgets when OBD is available. This gadget shows the named green/blue/read bubbles when communication is going on (or going wrong).

Problem solved.

I picked up a GoPoint BT1 haha.

It would great to diagnose the ELM327 though, but I wont be using it anymore.

Daft question but were you connecting roqy first then closing it but leaving it running in the background and then opening HLT?

and had you configured the setting in expert section within HLT?

Ok for those with it and jailbreak to pass OBD data, then i can now report success on iOS 7.0.4 with roqyBT7 & roqyOBD7

This will shorty be available in cydia as i have had the beta versions and now the soon to be published alpha versions.
