Harry,
Thanks for the info. I would be willing to take any increase as autocross can be very dynamic, but I will first research what the max OBDII rate is for my car.

Here's a lateral acceleration chart for a 45 sec course from Sunday. This is an average autocross course from a rate of change of direction (turns). See image below for lateral acceleration and RPM.

Had a chance to test a OBDLink WLAN dongle today. It works with 10 to 11Hz for my 2011 911 GTS. This is quite a bit more than with the Kiwi. Interesting enough, it suffers from connection problems in town like the Kiwi does. Seems to be a problem with the AdHoc WLAN connections. Will check with Apple and the OBDLink manufacturer next week.

Doesn't the Kiwi Wifi support CANBUS? If so, I would expect to see MUCH higher update rates on '08+ models. My '06 Lexus with early implimentation of CAN streamed RPM, speed, TPS, etc at more than 10 frames per second. Some of them streamed over 60 frames per second.

The 997 Facelift IS much faster (8 Hz)
