Right now, I'm using the experimental GoPro support (Grand Prix version) for a Hero2 w/ wifi bacpack ... and a GoPoint BT1 OBD2 reader ... the BT1 seems kind of slow, and even with adjusting the OBD2 sensor delay in the advanced settings, it's tough to make work at all speeds ... wondering if a Wifi OBD2 sensor would be faster (Kiwi?). If so, is there a way to get both the GoPro and the OBD2 sensor on the same Wifi network? Both have different SSIDs (and are essentially behaving as access points), so not clear to me how to connect the iphone to both in parallel?
Thanks
Tom
Use GoPro Hero Wifi and OBD2 Wifi sensor at the same time?
Re: Use GoPro Hero Wifi and OBD2 Wifi sensor at the same tim
Hi Tom,
As both the GoPro and the wifi dongles claim their own networks, you cannot combine them... A wifi dongle will not influence the update rate too much by the way, it is influenced mainly by the car's bus. The Kiwi will be at most 1 Hz faster.
