In case OBD data is coming in while driving, it should be stored too. Please double check you see both OBD and GPS data updating regularly while recording. The Engine icon is not displayed in case too many icons show up (limited screen space). Please goto the lap and follow Data Recordings / Preview / Charts / Engine RPM to see if there is really no data. NB: in case there are issues with the GPS update rate, OBD is not stored either.

Here's the answer from GoPoint support:

iOS 11 has been a struggle. Hardware compatibility was an issue but the BT1A is approved. All the Gopoint Technology Apps needed to be modified. GP Auto, GP Drive, BT1 and the Gopoint App are working on iOS 11.
The BT1A is compatible with iOS 11 but the BT1 will need to be returned to the factory for upgrade.

Engineering will attempt to repair your Gopoint product. Send it to the address below.
