The GLO is not integrated into LapTimer directly, but LapTimer will use GPS data feed in by the GLO into iOS. When I tested this combo initially, I got disappointing 4 Hz. This has been due to the GLO ‣ iOS location service ‣ LapTimer path. Maybe Garmin has fixed that issue since then. For the Android version 10 Hz are delivered as expected.

That's the reason, the GLO is not recommended for LapTimer on iOS. Dual's XGPS160 has the same spec, same price and is open for direct integration.

Is the Garmin Glo 2 also suppeorted from Harry's Laptimer?
