LapTimer always uses the GPS timestamp. Neither iOS or Android are real time systems. So using the system time would result in inaccuracies depending on the system load.

iOS 15.6.1
O.k. that's fine and should deliver 25 Hz both in real time and in recordings. Laps recordings collected with versions before 24.6.3 will show 1 Hz recordings only. That's as expected.

But let us understand the problem by analyzing things one by one. Please take the iPhone and the Mini with you and walk somewhere outside where no other BT devices are around. Start LapTimer and goto Administration ‣ Sensor List. After a short time, Racebox Mini should be displayed, and a few seconds (but up to 2 minutes) later, the actual update rate received is shown. It is displayed right under the Racebox Mini entry. Two views to check against:

Please let me know what you see.

Hello,

You forgot to mention the 10Hz are in VBO. That's the working standard, at least the last CT version I tested had problems with 25 Hz. So LapTimer stores data at 25 Hz (see Lap List / a lap / Data Recordings / Fixes) but interpolates that to 10 Hz when exporting data to VBO. Exports to HLPTRL, GPX, NMEA are all the same as the LapTimer storage rate, VBO is not.

It appears that the accelerometer remains with the iPhone even though the RaceBox Mini is connected with a blue light showing.

My apologies, I did not realise that the .vbo files were reduced down to 10Hz.
Is it correct that the accelerometer is still in the hands of the iPhone and not the RaceBox Mini even when the RaceBox Mini is connected?

Was trying to use my racebox mini for the first time today and while it indicated it was the selected gps sensor both in the Sensors section and in the Timer when I click the icons at the top, all of the lap results are still showing Internal @ 1hz for the GPS. This is Harrys v24.6.3 on Android 12 on a Galaxy S10E. What am I doing wrong?

Please take Galaxy and Mini outside. Start LapTimer and make sure the Mini connects at 25Hz (GPS View or Sensor List). Enable Manual Timing in LapTimer's Settings. Return to Timer View and press the Start button. Wait for 20 seconds and press Stop to finalize a recording. Goto Lap List and check which storage rate is displayed.
