Here's something I did a while back comparing the location precision of different GPS attachments, a Vbox Sport, an Emprum Ultimate and an XGPS160: http://www.gps-laptimer-forum.de/viewto ... =19&t=1660

The Vbox Sport probably has the least filtered GPS data, but other than speed and time, everything else, particularly the direction data is suspect. But Circuit Tools only uses the GPS data, which has advantages and disadvantages. IMO, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. Using the internal accelerometer in the phone takes care of most of those problems. If you want to do more with the data, you're better off exporting HLT to .csv and working in a spreadsheet.
