OBD and GPS

Post by bmwV8T »

Hi,

I have the laptimer and I would upgrade it bij buying and OBD and GPS module.
What is the best for Iphone 4 and bmw E92 M3?
I saw some good reviews about de Dual XGPS 150 and the price is ok. So I think this is a good value-quality rate I suppose?
Does it good works on tracks like Spa-Francorchamps and the Ring with the altidude differences?

What is a good value-quality rate for the OBD?

Thanx

Hi,

Please check my recommendations on www.gps-laptimer.de/Compatibility.html - it is up to date. For an iPhone4 I'd consider the Ultimate in addition to the Dual, it has similar GPS quality. For OBD is GoPoint's BT1 the recommended dongle currently. Please note there are some issues with BMW's OBD implementation. It seems I have found a way to work around (see recent posts on BMW and OBD) the major issue, but there are some items open.
