No, not compatible with the Optrix remote / Apple remote. I have not checked what needs to be done to add this integration.

In general, the iPhone5 and newer iPhones are able to created overlaid videos in real time. The problem is, this will requires all the resources available and will not leave enough for the recording job. This is true up to the iPhone6. With introduction of 4K in the near future, I doubt this will change too soon. At some time (resolutions will not grow forever?), this chicken race will certainly turn. ;-)

Hi Harry.

Hmmm.. This weekend, i recorded som HillClimb Runs in my Corvette.

I have Iphone 6+ and iOS 8.4, is that a problem ?

When i try to Overlay, it fails. When i try to Move, it fails. And the video list have no Thumnails/Pics and the Text "NO".

Are my work lost ? or can i save atleast the recordings ?

Just saw the topics about VieoPro issues now, so i hope my work can be saved.

In the future i will use my Harry's Grand Prix edition to record video's.

Kind regards Skallerup, Denmark.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but Video Pro is off maintenance and has been pulled from the store 2 or more years ago. I needed to do this because it didn't work for iOS7 any more. So I wonder it is working for iOS8.4 at all... I'm not sure it will reappear as Harry's VideoPro some day, it is not scheduled so far.

The only thing I can offer is using LapTimer Petrolhead - which is a super(super)set of VideoPro's functionality. For users going this path, I used to offer a refund for the original VideoPro purchase provided they send me both receipts (VideoPro and Petrolhead) and a valid PayPal address.
