Can I record multiple laps (with overlay) using only my iphone 4 or 5?

I'd rather not use separate camera then merge the video and data, however I keep reading that only 1 lap is recorded (or every second lap).

Sorry, I'm sure it's been asked a thousand time before but I tried searching and couldn't find a definitive answer.

For VideoPro there is no real "lap" notion, it is simply start a lap recording and stop it at some time again (like a normal video recorder or stopwatch). The limitation on recording every other lap for LapTimer(!) dates back quite some time and is not up to date any more. Todays lap timer records full sessions consisting of potentially many laps.
