Bugfix release LapTimer v15.0.3 submitted to AppStore

Post by Harry »

Hi,

I have submitted another bug fix release to Apple. This release fixes all currently known problems.
- Increased stability for iOS3.1.3 and iOS 4.3.3 devices
- Further improved stability of recovery routines
- Re-enabled conflict detection for track sets
- Auto-fixes links between laps and videos captured

Apple will typically need 1 week to approve this update. Afterwards, version 15.0.3 will be available as a free update on AppStore.

Ill be on track testing next week. Hope the 15.03 is out by then. Ive got to say even with the little bugs in the new version your product support is amazing, and for the price compaired to stand alone systems, this app is wonderful. Have you ever considered doing a stand alone system?

Thanks :-) The innovation LapTimer is able to deliver is both from developing the app(!) AND from the hardware innovation Apple and other smartphone providers create. From my point of view stand alone solution providers suffer from the limited innovation they can create on the hardware side. Just imagine what you need to do to get a hardware platform with color display, lots of memory, HD video, always online connectivity, basic sensor support for everything, and so on. The people able to develop this are sitting in other companies. And the investments that can be spend are a magnitude higher in a company like Apple or Samsung. So stand alone solution are either VERY specialized and VERY HIGHLY priced, or they are highly priced but inferior compared to HLT ;-) Think that answers it?
