Problems with LapTimer v19.0.0 for iOS

Dear LapTimer users,

All LapTimer version 19.0.0 approved and released yesterday night share a common problem making them un-usable for recording. It seems something has changed with Apple's distribution process making LapTimer consider itself not licensed. This in turn will remove all tracks from track list and exit LapTimer after three laps recorded.

If not too late already, please disable automatic updates in AppStore and do not update your version 18.3.x copy to 19.0.0 currently.

I have submitted a version working around this issue to Apple this morning. I have applied for an expedited review too and hope they will approve v19.0.1 very fast.

I update the LapTimer Blog on Facebook frequently-you can access it even without being registered in FB, it is public.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I know many use the weekend for a track day. This is really bad timing...

Thanks for showing the fault Harry! I just saw it was not showing the Add Ons properly and stumbled here. Top notch support!

Can you please verify that when the fix is available that the User Track Set's I've built will still be available?

Is there a way to retrieve (export) them now to ensure they are not lost, or should I "Certify" them even though they may not be verified or complete?

Thanks much, luckily my first track day isn't until the 30th, but I have been building track sets in the off season via google maps...

Existing data (laps and track sets) are not affected. Just wait for the update and data will be visible again. It seems Apple didn't review the apps this weekend although they added it to the priority queue. I assume they do not have the capacity needed on weekends. I assume it will be fixed tomorrow.

A sigh of relief from me :-)

Thank you Harry for your diligent maintenance of this app.

I can wait patiently for the update.

If they use iTunes app on the computer they can install old version of LapTimer here is the iPhone application folders, when open the folder you can see the LapTimer 18.3.9 and than delete the app on your phone and re-install with using iTunes.

P.S. Do not forget turn off the automatic updates :)

C:\Users\(User Name)\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications

I have installed Harry's Lap Timer 18.3.9 a hour ago.

That stinks, I read the update release details and got excited about the GoPro 3/4 integration so I installed immediately. Hopefully this gets worked out before my next event in few weeks. Please keep us posted!

Thanks Harry. Today's update to 19.0.1 is great. Seems to have improved my ability to transfer data from the iPhone to
iPad trainer. Amazing all the features, including iWatch that you have stuffed into the Grand Prix app.
