@Dubbedown Why don't you blip the throttle on your downshifts? Since you have custommade pedal plates that are made to help with that

I do blip but it's only noticeable when I go to 3rd. I don't need to apply too much throttle when going to 4th since I'm not scrubbing that much speed. I used 3rd more in the session below but my times weren't much better because I top out 3rd so quickly. I'd rather stay in 4th than shift unnecessarily.

It's been a while. Here's a try at some video from a weekend at Grattan Raceway. It's a very condensed track

...and someday I'll remember how to embed these things.

One lap from yesterday at local small circuit around 1.1km long. I have video with OBD data too, but I dont know why, OBD data was crazy and gives nonsence...

It could be better. Few secs it's possible to get down, but for now I'm satisfied. Next time I will try it better :)

Here's a lap from last friday, including heart rate an additional altitude I added with Racerender, video editing also done with Racerender. Had to switch cam at the end of the lap because my Sony turned itself off

Great, but your mount position is not matching LapTimer expectation :-) Please have a look into illustration #4 in Quick Reference in the app. I assume the acceleration is not recorded because of this. Please reset acceleration handling to Automatic first (Settings). You can recalculate acceleration for your fast lap as follows: Lap List ‣ select fast lap ‣ Recalculate ‣ Acceleration.

Thanks for the tip. Do you also have an idea why the GPS fixes are so bad once I added video? Do some mobile phones reduce the GPS frequency when they get warm or low on resources? Because it worked perfectly at the beginning.

The GPS plot of the fast lap isn't perfect either. Like most systems measuring something, a certain minimal level of reception is required. You get some early indicators like for the fast lap, but starting at a certain level, performance will degrade rapidly (most fun lap). Looking onto the field of view, I'd recommend to move the smartphone into the center of the screen the next time. With the phone mounted near either of the A-pillars, the pillar shield GPS reception a lot. The internal GPS is never great compared to dedicated devices, but it is usually better than what you see for your two recordings.
