do you have a pic of the camera mounted? quite like that view
Sure, here it is:

Using the standard GoPro mounts. I tried to get eye level and I've put it upside down with the lens outward so that the video won't show 50% helmet :P

Here's another video with helmet mount (from May this year):

Nice, I really like the Lotus. I did a test drive in one a while ago. They're so pure to drive. Feels more like a gokart than a car. Looks like you had quite some space as there was no traffic at all. How much did you pay for a trackday like this at the Nordschleife?

Looks like your car does above 1.2g with ease, what tires are you using?

Tried using an external mic, still not great but keep in mind it was really windy this past weekend (most I can recall in past year or two I've been at this track). Interestingly enough HLT didn't detect my GoPro (laps show no linked videos) yet GoPro still knew to record hence I have the video footage. Too lazy to sync up the videos manually but here it is:

But I think it sounds better than this video which is same track but without the use of an external mic.

Here's a video of me at a Solo event at zMax dragway near Charlotte, NC in my 2011 Mustang GT. There's a lot more speed in the car, but at least I'm not embarrassingly slow. If you watch closely at about 0:10, you can see the speed and rpm's go up while the car isn't actually accelerating due to massive wheel spin on the right rear tire coming out of the right hand turn. It would have been more obvious if I had used GPS speed for the overlay instead of wheel speed. The GPS speed was about 40 mph at that point. The clutches on my limited slip must be nearly shot. I see a Torsen T2R in my future.

Please don't take notice of my slowliness, but just enjoy the beautifulness of the Nordschleife in a mixture of autumn sun and fog :-)

I had the rare chance to drive a few laps of the Mount Panarama circuit in Bathurst while on my honeymoon. I was in a Holden SV6 rental car. The track is classed as a normal public road most of the year (sound familiar?) and it so has two way traffic so I wasn't going to film myself braking the law. Never thought I would get be chance to visit this track so was very happy, although it was a 6 hour detour.
The video is being played back at x2 speed otherwise it's far too long

[Added the youtube tag to make the vid show up immediately]

Mount Panorama / Bathurst seems to be an incredible special track. I drive it regularly in Real Racing 3 :-) and love it. Huge elevation - it will ruin the brakes in the downhill section pretty fast? Thanks for posting!

P.S. Turn the video stabilizer off the next time, it will improve image stability...

Thanks for the reply Harry. How do I turn off the stabiliser? It's been a few years since I've really used lap timer

In Video View is an options button (small wrench) available. It has all the video settings.
