XGPS160 with doublesided tape on the dash, the anti-slip pad is shit. My first time at Zandvoort.

I couldn't get double sided tape to stick to the dash. If you can find it, Scotch All-Weather Fasteners seem to be working for me. They're clear plastic so they don't get as hot in the sun as the black Velcro.

I'm getting a dash cam in my car too - www.szswill.com, just after I got the box installed I went out to see how it monitored my driving and I got cut off by some lady and had to drive onto the sidewalk to avoid hitting her car!

Would be nice to have a recording of stuff like that so I can report idiots like that.

At first I had some issues to get the continueing laps working. I had the following error: CLICK
After deleting all the video files (the phone recordings are useless in my case) and adding a new clear video I managed to get it working by selecting 'full session' for each lap CLICK

Though it does seem to be limited to 4 or 5 laps. More doesn't fit on the select laps screen for overlay and scrolling isn't possible. I also wonder why you need to have data from the previous lap to be able to use the overlay intro. Makes no sense to me because no actual data is shown in the overlay during the intro time.

The limit is the video length. All laps "overlapping" the video will be shown. There is no scrolling, the laps are resized so they match the portion of the video. The screen width is the full video length. So there is no limit to 4 or 5 laps, it is variable. Furthermore a recording for the former lap is not required to add a longer intro. As a sample, think of a video 10 minutes long with one lap starting at 4 minutes and 2 minutes long, and a second lap starting at 6 minutes extending to 8 minutes of the video. Navigation from the first lap into Overlay Configuration, you will see lap #1 selected (4 - 6 minutes). Tap into lap #2 and it will be added to the overlay area. The range shown is 4 to 8 minutes now. Now. Add Intro and Outro of e.g. 10 seconds and the range overlaid will be 3:50 to 8:10 - without a lap #0 and #3 required.

Just came back from Watkins Glen with Porsche Club. It was my first time there and I managed a 2:20. Even got to chase down a Boss 302 Mustang (190hp advantage over me) at the same time!

Your windows are down which makes watching video no joy for me. Why do Americans always have the window down on trackdays? Is that a rule or something? Maybe you should consider moving the camera out of the wind. Or use a external microphone so you can put that in a better spot.
