Version 13 and early iPhones / iPods

It seems that early iPhones / iPod touches (most probably all models with 128MB main memory) with OS version 3.1.3 have problems with LapTimer Version 13.0. This devices will time out during startup and quit to Springboard after a few seconds.

In case you read this early enough, do not upgrade currently.

I work on a solution and will come up with a quick fix as soon as possible.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Just received another crash report on a iPhone3Gs. Again, it is an iOS 3.1.3 device, so most probably it is an issue with the iOS, not the device.
Stay tuned, I will try to reproduce the problem and make a quick fix available.

Found the bug. LapTimer v13 uses a function not available on iOS3.1.3, this crashed all devices with this iOS installed.

I will submit both LapTimer and LapTimer Professional v13.1 to Apple today evening.

In case you can't wait for the approval process to complete, please send your device's UDID and send it to LapTimer@gmx.de
Here is a little app that extracts your device's UDID: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/udid-sen ... 03975?mt=8

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi,

LapTimer Professional 13.1 is available already, I'm sure Standard will follow within the next 24 hours.
