Hi,

The KiwiWifi is connected to your car using its OBD II plug. It connects to your iPhone using wireless lan. Using this chain, LapTimer can access your car's bus and receive information and augment it to the GPS, and acceleration information available on the iPhone already. There are several areas OBD information can be used for. LapTimer focusses on everything a driver might need on track and for later analysis. Functions available in LapTimer are described here: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/OBD_II.html

In case your iPhone is jailbroken, you may consider roqyBT4 OBD that allows connecting BT OBDs to LapTimer. No support from my side however, please contact the roqyBT4 people.
