Re: Dual XGPS160 10Hz support

Post by Blue03Si »

I ordered one of these and will be using it at an auto-x this sunday and I had a question about defining the course when using an external GPS. Do I just use the phone GPS to define the start/stop triggers or should i carry the Dual XGPS160 with me on my course walk and use it to define the start/stop triggers.... I'm guessing I carry it with me and use it. I just wanted to confirm.

Thanks!

Take the XGPS160 with you. I set it on the ground to get a better ground plane for the antenna and step back before setting the location. Just make sure no one steps on it.
