Lapwise - another analytics platform for LapTimer users

Post by Harry »

Constantly looking for Partners integrating LapTimer data, I came across www.lapwise.com, a web-based tool to store and analyze your Harry's LapTimer data.

Lapwise is a cloud-based web application for analyzing motorsports data captured by GPS data-loggers.

You can upload your Harry's LapTimer CSV data files and Lapwise will offer several services:
- Stores events by track name and date
- Searchable and customizable dashboard
- Share to Facebook, Goolge+ and Twitter
- Multiple YouTube videos per event
- Trackmap overlays
- Speed and G-force analysis
- Interactive plots
- Detailed statistics

To allow you some testing, Lapwise offers a free promotional code for LapTimer users: 2013hltp1

Please let me know if you like it!

I just might have broken it...not that I was asked to do so...but my second upload became somewhat of a hardcore test ;) 28 Nordschleife laps CSV around 13MB. First it would not upload (too big). I then chose the Dropbox option and now I get:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/ec2-user/server/includes/MASivArc/MiniArc/Specialized/MiniArc_Sanitization_Specialized.inc on line 127

when trying to view the data. I guess it's just too much data
Besides that it looks pretty nice and might be a really good alternative to Circuit Tools, plus it's online and has the nice share and video functions.

Hello and thanks for trying Lapwise, for the bug report and feedback.

13MB is indeed a lot of data. The current configuration can't handle that much data, but disc-space, CPU and memory will be added in the future as the need increases. It's awesome that you tried to upload that much data, thanks for pushing the limits.

Please let me know if there's any other suggestions,
Glynn

Hi Glynn,

after posting here about Lapwise, I figured out it might be better to give you guys feedback directly...I wrote some emails to Mike and gave some more info / input.

Yes, or open a separate thread in "Using LapTimer". The Announcements forum requires my to approve each post as it is thought to be one way only :-)
