I would love to have the "map view" and histogram views available on my Macbook Pro rather than just my phone. I see you have a iPad app, but I don't want an iPad. Also as others have said greater ability to compare multiple laps

Could be on an app in appstore for Mac. Functionality as the trainer on Ipad.

Give me a hint what an acceptable price point would be from your point of view?

I'd second that.. would like to see it simpler on the phone, and do all the analysis and whatnot on the mac... I just want to pick a track and record everything available, then do post processing all on the Mac.

Off topic! :-) I will consider a Mac version for the future, but definitively not for Windows. There are other tools and I try to support them by providing some export formats. A Mac version derived from the iPad version is something I will consider. Please keep in mind this is all a lot of work and hard to be justified as an investment. At least if you do not want to push out another crappy tool... In case I create a desktop version, I want it to be loved by the community like HLT Pro / Trainer are :-)

Thanks, but not nearly a business case ;-) I need something like the limit you as LapTimer users would be willing to pay. Desktop programs sell at low numbers compared to smartphones, so you will always end up higher. The reasons for all this low price apps are programmers hoping for the big deal in the top 25. In case you cannot make this (due to limited attractiveness of the app or a too small market segment of iPhone users interested in your app), you need to walk away for another job very soon.
