OBDII Options

Post by random1 »

Harry,

Please consider allowing the user to select which/quantity of the OBDII parameters are requested by LapTimer. A concept could be a check box option for each parameter currently on the list so the user can have zero, one, two, or more selected.

The spirit of this idea is to allow user control over the band width used on the OBDII bus. I think the significance of this is variable depending the particular car model and its implementation of OBDIII bus. For example the percentage of bandwidth used per parameter is dependent on the OBDII bus update rate.

Thanks,
Rob
