Android Support

Post by KC Jr 54 »

I looked in various places before posting this thread, so please forgive me if a over looked it.

I was just curious if there was any support for the Android phones in the near future. This app is amazing, and i have used it on friends phones, but dang right refuse to get an iPhone. If you do plan on supporting Android phones, what is the expected time-line for such. I know of several people that would be more then ecstatic to have this app available to us.

Thanks, and i REALLY look forward to your response.

Yes, I'm aware of this :D

An Android port would require a re-implentation of roughly 50% of the code. I'd love to do it but that is an amount of time I cannot afford currently.

You may consider using an iPod touch plus an external GPS (see Compatibility on www.gps-laptimer.de) if you do not want to go for an iPhone.
