DJI Osmo camera support

Post by Fuza88 »

Hi, first of all thanks for this wonderful application. I just bought the petrolhead version today and still discover things we can change and add in.

I saw that we had the possibility to add an external camera (GoPro) but I run a DJI Osmo Pocket. As it work in WiFi too, I wanna know if maybe you had some plans for this type of camera, or maybe it’s actually working even if I pick a GoPro setting ?

Thanks :)

The number of cams available is simply too large to support. There is no standard interface, so every device needs to be integrated individually. Provided your DJI creates one of the formats supported by LapTimer (HD, FullHD, UHD 4K, up to 60fps), operate your cam manually before leaving the pits. You can add the video to Petrolhead for overlays following this instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXjVb8nWCXI&t=10s
