iPhone Laptimer camera selection for video

Now that there are multiple cameras on the iPhone, will there be an update so we can select which camera to use for recording video with Laptimer?
I think they announced that you can even do a multicam recording using some or all the cameras on the phone.
Right now there is only a selection for front or rear camera.
