We organize trackdays and are looking for a solution to have drivers compare their times at these events.
Should be a fun way without having official time keeping so the lap timer would be the way to go.

Any chance of getting something like this setup?

Actually this feature is available already. Send a group request for the track day or track days organized by you first (LapTimer ‣ Friends ‣ Groups ‣ last page ‣ Request). Once the group is approved, you will be able to invite participants. Lap times performed by participants will go to our server as usual. Starting with LapTimer v22, you can not only watch the Hall of Fame for a specific track, but can filter the list by group. So when you select your group, you will see participants only.
