Track time/distance per car

Post by Mateusz »

It would be useful to display total track time and distance driven per car in vehicle config page. Currently number of laps is included. Some car service regimes require changing AWD transmission oil after eg 800km of track driving, so this information would be helpful.
While canceled laps would not be counted, they are typically cool down laps anyway.

Optionally, one could imagine a stat like total amount of fuel burned also listed (if it is logged) - for bragging rights...

You should get this functionality from the Vehicle List ‣ Vehicle Details / History section. The problem can be that not all distances driven are included (missing laps or trips driven without recording). In cases like this, you can update the overall distance according to your odometer using New Event.

While track events are added automatically to the timeline, it is not that easy to get a sum of the _track_ driving distance. For this you need to mannually multiply number of laps per particular track distance for each event. What I meant was a number in brackets added automatically in the heading, before "General" section:
"Current Vehicle, Laps: XXX (yyyy km)"
yyyy could then be a variable that could be used in defining Regular Services regime.

Are you talking about the Vehicle Details view? It seems I'm lost.
