Hi is it at all possible to generate a lap time from the go pro footage? I've tried a few times to record lap times with phone in my pocket but most of the time it either can't get a gps signal or phone dies
Would be great to overlay just my LapTimer from the footage I already have even if I can just input start and stop times per lap
Please help if anyone can cheers

This would require either access to embedded GPS information or a very sophisticated image recognition. I doubt this is feasible. You can use any video editor and check the frame timestamps of the start and the end of the lap.
