Apple Watch heart beat
Apple Watch heart beat
Hi there,
I think it would be good to add a feature to show the real time heart beat from an Apple Watch.
Would that be doable?
Thank you,
eddy_mane

Re: Apple Watch heart beat
Data delivered to Health Kit is behind. Probably not a big issue as rates do not change that fast, but something to keep in mind. You are aware heart beats are are shown in video overlays if available (requires GrandPrix).

Really?
I do have the GrandPrix app but I can't see how to add the heart beats into the overlays.
Could you help me with that please?
Thank you,

Re: Apple Watch heart beat
Check if you have heart beat data in the HealthKit app for the time you were on track lapping. LapTimer does not record HK data itself, it just accesses the HK repository and shows data if available.

Yes, I have heart beat data in the HealthKit but I can't see a way to get those to show on LapTimer. Am I missing something?
N.B. LapTimer has access to the HealthKit app.

Re: Apple Watch heart beat
There are two areas heart rates are actually shown and used: overlaid videos and as an extra chart available in Data Recording. To have a look into the later, please select a lap from Lap List you think heart rate data is available and scroll down to Data Recordings. Press Preview and Charts. Swipe to the last (right most) page to get the Heart Rate @ Distance chart.
Please have a look into this chart. In case you do not get data here either, please create a snapshots of the respective HK charts (with date/time visible) and the top most area of your lap (Lap Details).

Re: Apple Watch heart beat
Apple just released iOS 10.1.1, it seems to fix some issues with health kit, maybe it is about the issue you face.

Hi Harry,
I have some data on the health app but this does not show into the LapTimer app. Have GrandPrix version. I have attached a few pics, maybe I’m doing something and you can spot it from here. Thanks!

Re: Apple Watch heart beat
This usually means you have no heart rate data for the time range the lap has been driven,

Oh sorry forgot to add the Healthapp screen shot for that day with data. Here it is. I’m I getting something wrong?
